The song “Baubles, Bangles & Beads” was written for the 1953 musical Kismet by Robert Wright and George Forrest. The show Kismet was set in the Baghdad of the One Thousand and One Arabian Nights stories. Peggy Lee recorded a hit version of the song “Baubles, Bangles and Beads” in 1954.
