The song “Summer Wind” was written by Heinz Meier and Johnny Mercer. It was first recorded by Wayne Newton in 1965. But it was the Frank Sinatra recording of the song a year later that has become the best known version of “Summer Wind.”
“Summer Wind” appeared on Sinatra’s album Strangers in the Night, available on CD from Amazon and Ebay.
